How to Get Involved

The Krewe of Bonaparte is one of the premier Krewes in Lafayette, Louisiana! We have a rich history and many traditions dating back to 1972. As a member of the Krewe you and your spouse/guest will have the opportunity to participate in many exciting events throughout the year including, the Fall Cocktail Party, The Pre-Parade Party, The Krewe of Bonaparte Parade, Coronation Ball (a sold out event each year) and Krewefish Boil.

Our annual events include the Fall Cocktail Party, Pre-Parade Party, Parade Ride, Coronation Ball, Mardi Gras Day Family Event, and the Krewefish Boil. We have much to celebrate so come join the excitement!

• Membership Renewal is every May 1-15th. Keep your information up to date, pay your dues, and get important informationfor the year. 
• New Member Nominations are accepted during the Membership Renewal. New members must be sponsored by two current members of the Krewe of Bonaparte. They must be 25 years old by December 31.
• Board Member Nominations will be accepted for vacancies for each year.
